Vodafone events calendar

To encourage employee involvement in Vodafone sponsored events, Vodafone wanted a more cutting edge solution to their usual cardboard desk calendar. The solution? An application built with AIR and Flash. The app idles in the user’s system tray, and when events are nearing the widget pops up with information (including scrolling text!) and various animations catching the eye of employees. Various animations were created such as Fireworks, Mexican waves, illuminating of stadium lighting, a football being kicked out of the stadium and more!

The application communicates with a webserver to get event details from a Vodafone managed database.

Eventscorp 2009 CALENDAR

eventscorp 2009 CALENDAR

We created this calendar for Tourism Western Australia with the desire for it to be highly usable as well as easy on the eye. This was the result! A very fluid papervision3d interface which couldn’t be more self explanatory if it spoke to you!

The Calandar can be arranged by date, loctation or category, and also offers the ability to add your chosen event to your outlook or Google Calendar. Besides showcasing images related to the various events, it also contains a video about Eventscorp itself.

Vodafone Christmas Clones

Vodafone Christmas Clones

Vodafone know it’s hard to be everywhere at Christmas. So to make sure you’re part of the Christmas action with all your friends and family, we’ve created the Vodafone Christmas Clones. Just head over to the site, choose from Santa, Mrs Claus, an angel, snowman, Rudolph, Elf, BBQ dude, surfie chick, turkey, or cricketer (replete with massive ‘tash), whack your face on them, and send them round to everyone you love and you can be everywhere this Christmas.

The Kimberley: The Real Star of Australia

Tourism WA - Kimberley, The Real Star of Australia

Our new microsite for Tourism Western Australia has been created to tell the true story: The real star of Australia is in fact The Kimberley region of WA.

The incredible landscapes that are the backdrops to the film are mostly from around the Kununurra region within the Kimberley (don’t know where it is? Check it on the site). The launch of the movie is an incredible opportunity for WA to have the world frothing at the mouth over their spectacular backyard and we intend for them to get full credit.

The site uses some slick AJAX, geo-targeting and lovely Google Maps integration, all wrapped up in a friendly CMS.
